JAPAN Soccer Village
How JAPAN Soccer College trains future analysts with FL-UX, and why it sped up the dialogue between instructors and students.
JAPAN Soccer College has a variety of departments, but the Soccer Coach Graduate School (4-year course) produces capable analysts who can succeed in the professional soccer industry.
The number of analyst classes in modern soccer is increasing year by year, but we aim to produce analysts with more expertise while also having the foundation as coaches.
We believe that tagging, which has become commonplace, is a necessary skill for analysts at each club, and we let students tag from early stages so that they can become an immediate asset and contribute to the team.
– Tatsuki Itagane (Japan Soccer Village Instructor)
Reason for Implementing FL-UX
Students who are currently aiming to become analysts work with the team at our university, and in addition to providing regular training support, they are also in charge of analyzing the team’s matches, analyzing their opponents, and conducting meetings. We introduced it (FL-UX) because we thought it had various benefits.
Advantages of Implementing FL-UX
One of the major benefits is that the speed of interaction between the instructor (Itagane) and students has increased. The benefits of implementing FL-UX include the speed and simplicity of video sharing, easy-to-use UI and UX, feedback to students using the chat function, and ease of finding videos that students themselves were searching for. I believe there are huge advantages you can get from implementing FL-UX.
JAPAN Soccer College has launched the “JSC Analyst Team”, which is now in its third year. Although it is still in the development stage, we would like to produce personnel who can contribute to the soccer industry together with FL-UX.
